An escaped soul, resurrected as half man, half raven,
trying to find a way home to help his father and avenge his own death.

What?

Raven is a character in my comics, he’s a half man – half raven, and belongs (or, used to belong) in a guild of Guardians, whose duty is to protect the stream of souls, the origin of life and death. Phew. Here’s his first appearance, in an improvised comic. The frog evolved later into Toad, a malevolent spirit doing the bidding of a sage leading the rebellion to break the soul stream, freeing all souls for all eternity. The first part of Raven trilogy will be ready and printed in 26-27.

Raven was born as an inktober 2021 drawing and quickly began to live a life of their own.

The Raven and The Frog, or Korppi ja Sammakko in Finnish, is my first finished comic from Oct-Nov 2021, sketched and inked in my sketchbook. I fixed the panel borders, adjusted values and added rastering with Krita.
